Breathless by Penelope Brut Rosé

The winemaker of this wine is a woman named Penelope Gadd-Coster. She’s been a winemaker in California for decades and she specializes in sparkling wines. The nose has classic yeasty and almond aroma found on so many good sparkling wines. It also offers some green apple aromas. The palate brings tart lemon and green apple flavors with a bit of nuttiness, particularly on the mid-palate. This rosé was refreshing, crisp, and smooth with notes of strawberry and lemon. After taste consists of honey and melon. I recommend for casual events or just an every day brut.
